Galactic Civilizations III v1.0 EN Fixed Files 1. You can’t have a Festron pastor dining on his congregation, after all. Welcoming citizens of all races makes the Krynn incredibly flexible, but it also means that it may be harder to keep them all happy, given that different species have different needs. Your main challenges will come from civilizations who specialise in things like production and warfare – aspects the Krynn don’t have any innate bonuses for – and managing your populace. The Krynn will spread their faith across the galaxy one way or another, and their impressive influence will force colony worlds to succumb to the Way. Divine Judgement – The pride of the Krynn navy has modest armaments for its size, but makes up for it with a powerful antimatter bomb that can damage all nearby enemy fleets.Memory of Rosalind – This large ship sports impressive armaments and defences, but also boosts the influence of nearby friendly worlds by a further 50%.Shield of the Way – Another defensive-focused medium ship, this one can heal friendly ships within its area of effect (AOE) for 4 HP per turn.Sword of the Way – This medium warship has impressive defences and can earn the Krynn one control point for every battle it fights.Crusader – This small ship can pack quite the punch for its size and will likely be the core of any early-game Krynn fleet.Monitor – Another small ship that has the ability to survey anomalies.Missionary – This small ship has infinite range and sensors that get better as it levels up.Planets from their respective civilizations break away and become the Jagged Knife.Supporting the Krynn’s galactic crusade is an array of command ships, all of which come with a small boost to influence for nearby friendly worlds that scale with the ship’s experience level, on top of additional benefits. This could ruin your game entirely unless you possess a formiddable starfleet. Once this event occurs, the technology "Plague Cure" becomes available for research, with the only pre-requisite being Xeno Medicine. Plague cure is the only way to reverse the plague's effect (the Yor require Antivirus Technology instead).Ī certain race comes across a Precursor artifact that boosts their civilization dramatically. See Peacekeeper Strategy for help on this potentially painful event.Ī mysterious and deadly plague appears in the galaxy, severely reducing population growth(?) and threatening to destroy the major civilizations of the galaxy. Strange ships suddenly jump into the galaxy apparently to keep the peace through any means necessary. One method of contacting them is when they make peace with a Civilization, Major or Minor. Depending on your Diplomic stat and Relationship factors, they may be very willing to trade tech for credits, or not. Note: Like with the Peacekeepers, it is possible to contact and trade technologies with the Dread Lords when they are a Mega Event, however this is by luck. Your ships will automatically start moving towards the Dread Lords planet. Try to attack their planet before they have a chance to construct powerful ships. Dread Lords start to colonize a planet using their advanced technology.
